Many blacktivists are positioning their people to receive a special designation as “wards of the state” (akin to Native Americans”) - and they are more than halfway there. Financially it is a disaster because it is a much larger population - and because they can’t be race-specific programs many whites have joined the “free sh!t” movement (breeding without marriage, entering adulthood with no marketable skills, even losing fluency in passable English).
FDR knew it would be devastating to pay people to remain idle; he set up public works programs, park construction and such so that people never disconnected pay from labor. I’m no fan of FDR, but he was absolutely right; he would have never permitted LBJ’s “cash for votes” BS.
