The GOP just wont stop.
Senate Leader Mitch McConnell today revealed plans to renew efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act if Republicans control Congress next year.
Washington Post: McConnell: GOP may take another shot at repealing Obamacare after the midterms
McConnell said that his partys failure last year to repeal the health-care law, also known as Obamacare, was the one disappointment of this Congress from a Republican point of view.
If we had the votes to completely start over, wed do it. But that depends on what happens in a couple weeks McConnell said.
McConnell only echoes other Republicans hoping to return to their monstrous assault on Americans health care.
In August, Vice President Mike Pence also said he hopes to give [repeal and replace] another try stealing health insurance from tens of millions of families, raising health costs, imposing an age tax on older Americans, and destroying protections for the 130 million people with pre-existing conditions, all while handing massive tax breaks to the same pharmaceutical companies raising drug prices.
Enough is enough.
Democrats hold the GOP accountable for their continued vicious assault on Americans health care and call for bold action to lower health care costs and crack down on drug price hikes, including by empowering Medicare to negotiate with drug companies for lower prescription drug prices.
McShithead is gone so maybe if we can pick up a few senate seats to offset Collins and Murkowski we might have a shot at it.
Does she mean the one that supposed to save me $2,500 a year and allow me to keep my plan and my doctor?
If anybody does the McNoName “thumbs down” routine, break them off at the stumps. Never again!
Americans hate Obamacare, it’s true - but they love the Affordable Care Act.
The only two things they hate about Obamacare are the name, and paying for it.
My mother-in-law and brother-in-law have needed specialized care within the last 2 years. They absolutely loathe Obamacare and the misery it’s caused them at the hospital.
Mitch gave Mccain his last laugh,I didn’t think it was funny, just got my ballot in the mailbox.
‘Again’
You mispelled ‘finally’.
Lol! The phrasing says it all. “Goes after!”
the one disappointment of this Congress from a Republican point of view.
Why even qualify it? Hope a Republican. Just assume that’s the point of view that any normal person will take.
Seems they are getting a spine?
“McShithead is gone so maybe if we can pick up a few senate seats to offset Collins and Murkowski we might have a shot at it.”
Actually, the Supreme Court is likely to do the job. Now that the mandate is gone, that was the only hook that made Obamacare constitutional. No mandate = unconstitutional.
Roberts will have a hard time wiggling out of his earlier, mendacious, opinion. 5-4 unconstitutional.
You seriously want to repeal it? Put Congress and the Senate on it. Will be gone in less than a week.
meanwhile Fox News is pushing their poll big-time that voters like almost nothing about the Presidents agenda, they want Obamacare and pathway to citizenship, etc...
what is going on?
17 Oct: Fox News: President Trump, health care drive midterm elections
Less than three weeks until Election Day, voters are thinking most about health care, the economy, and reining in President Trump and Democratic candidates are benefitting.
If the election were today, the House would most likely flip, says Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the poll with Democrat Chris Anderson. Republicans keep waiting for the national numbers to tighten, but they have been remarkably stable this campaign season.

GOP positions out of favor. The only issue that draws clear support for the GOP candidate is border security, as those naming it as extremely important to their vote back the Republican by 23 points. Seventy percent of likely voters favor a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants currently working in the U.S. More like Obamacare (54 percent favorable) than the tax cut law (45 percent favorable) plus health care (58 percent) is extremely important to more voters than taxes (44 percent) when it comes to their congressional vote...

Talk is cheap. When they do it then I'll believe it.
They didn’t do it when they had the votes (along party lines) to do so; do they need 80 Republican senators to do it?
Juan McCain was praised as the “savior of ObamaCare” by the left when he died; if Republicans lose in this upcoming mid-term they earned it.
Stop? I'm still worried if they're going to START.
Fox isn't really conservative, they're just kind of Liberal-Lite. LESS biased to the left than SeeBS, PMSNBC and so on.
Lettuce was probably farther left (and definitely more spiteful and mendacious) than the (R) crew that’s left or the new class from next month. Probably a net gain.
