Ammoland doesn’t know their weapons. That is clearly not a Model 36. It may be a Model 60.

The Model 36 is blued steel, whereas the Model 60 is stainless steel. That is a stainless steel gun, not a nickel plated gun.

I believe the model 60 one of the first if not the first Stainless steel revolvers S&W made.

I have a model 66 (19) from the early 70’s. (Bangor-Punta)

Looks like well worn blued steel to me.

I would expect stainless to be much brighter.

A model 60 is just a stainless model 36.
