I actually did a short review of the film a day after I watched it.
Saw it. The movie itself may not have any actual gruesome scenes, but your description provided some of that mentally. I’m not sure whether I should say “thanks” or not, but I understand that you apparently got those same mental pictures while watching it. The movie would definitely not leave the kind of impressions it intends to leave if it had the visuals.
I barely remember hearing about this in the news and I’m not surprised because of the “media black-out” as is mentioned.
Horrific, for sure. I’m also wondering if it will stay in the theaters for long.
