The Indiana Senate race is one of the closest midterm elections in the country, and like the other close races, it’s been nationalized. Instead of a contest between two distinct candidates from opposing parties, the election has become a referendum of sorts on President Trump’s first two years in office.
But this is Indiana, so it’s a strange, non-binary kind of referendum. Trump carried the state by 19 points and remains hugely popular here. Strange as it might be to see a Democrat in 2018 bragging about being aligned with Trump, that’s exactly what Democratic incumbent Sen. Joe Donnelly is doing.
One Donnelly campaign ad boasts that he voted with Trump’s party “62 percent of the time,” and another recent ad slams “the radical left” for trying to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement, slams “socialists” for supporting government-run health care, calls for funding Trump’s border wall, and closes with Donnelly quoting Ronald Reagan. This is what the Resistance amounts to in Indiana.

Then have Trump end it by saying, "we have too many phony, two faced politicians in Washington. That is what is wrong with our great country. We need to get rid of this slime ball."
I hate to beat a dead horse but Donnelly should have never even made it to the Senate. He’s there courtesy of a GOP candidate named Richard Mourdock who forgot to engage his mouth and brain at the same time.

If Donnelly wins, will he be voting for the Turtle for Majority leader? I don’t think so...
As long as Donnelly yields a Schuuuuumer, Braun is the way to go.
Donnelly might be 62% Trump, but that other 38% includes putting Shuuuuumer into power, and all that goes with that.
Well that explains His polling, he’s pretending to be a republican.... but I highly doubt he’s surviving....
Article fails to mention he voted against Kavanaugh for some reason. That’s the critical and final nail in his political coffin. He’s gone.

It is only 62% for “Trump” when on votes where it does not matter and he has a pass from Chucky to pad his voting record.

How has he voted on Judges? That’s the most important indicator.(Not that I’d ever vote for a RAT)!
Donnelly voted against Kavanaugh. When it counts, he’ll side with Chuck Schumer over President Trump every time. I hope Hoosiers can see through his BS in the end.
