i donnt know the guy but think it is extremely unlikely he’s gonna just resign.... after all, he and Mueller look like they are about to spring their big trap to finally (if they can pull it off) force DJT out of office

I agree. The DOJ and the FBI are operating as an independent arm of the government. Mueller and Rosenstein are coup plotter leaders and intend to press home their attempt until or unless forcefully stopped.
There is no trap to be sprung. They don’t even have a box, a stick, and a piece of cheese.
The certainty of this is signaled in the most obvious way possible—Mueller won’t be releasing his *report* until after the midterms.
That’s as good, if not better, than a signed confession. If Mueller had a shred of a tiny shard of anything that would support his risible accusations, it would be non stop, wall to wall, bring-the-big-name anchors in on weekends, declare a national holiday, and close the schools. Then speak of nothing else for the next 27 weeks.
But, meekly letting the word out—no report until *after* you vote—could there be a more blatant tell?
