Its about 1250 miles from Guatemala City to Harlingen TX. No one can walk that in 17 days. Do the math. Especially a bunch of “women and children.” Especially not on Guatemalan roads. I’ve spent months in Guatemala. A march like this would take extensive planning and preplanted water food toilets etc. Challenging anywhere in the world. Impossible in Guatemala for so many reasons. This is a charade. Guateemala government would have to make this their top priority to make this happen on busses abd it would detract from a lot more important stuff. And why would they want to do this? Good relations with the US is more in their interest than not. This is a charade. Don’t know how else to say it.
