They’d just gotten going good on the small front field when I got home. They were out there til after dark and haven’t finished. They’ll be back tomorrow to finish the big field and the back.
It’s nasty outside right now. No breeze and the dust is just hanging. Ugh!
It’s going to look so bare in the morning. :-(

Yeah, no kidding that I've been working for a year, it' really is a perfect part-time job.
Too cool that the soybeans are getting harvested, I hope the yield made you guys some cash.

Ack. Makes me want to sneeze just thinking of all the dust they’ve stirred up!
On a brighter note, it’s sill rainy here. Slow, easy and a cool 49°. I LOVE it!

It did take you a while to find something you liked. Glad the wait paid off.
We don’t get any money from the beans. The guy who does the work rents the acreage so our money is up front.
He’ll have a good yield this year. I haven’t kept up with current prices but I hope they’re good this year.
Harvest time always hurts because the fields are so pretty during summer and it kinda makes me sad to see them bare.
But it gives us something to look forward to ......... SPRING! LOL

I’m not sneezing but I’ve been blowing my nose a lot since I took a couple of cans out to the trash can after supper.
Glad you’re getting some good rainfall there. It’s long overdue.
The system is supposed to come through here after midnight tomorrow night and clear up before noon Saturday. It looks like we might get some rain out of this one. We’ve been ripped off the last two systems.

This has been a very strung out system that started in the Pacific with Hurricane/T.Storm Tara and goes clear up to New England. Too much rain for parts of Texas and other states, but just enough for me here. I’ll bet the kittens are ready for it to be over though. They get so wet trying to eat.

Another Pacific hurricane? I haven’t kept tabs over there and didn’t know about Tara.
You aren’t kidding about it being too much rain for parts of TX. Some of the video footage I’ve seen on the news has been eye-popping.
Yeah, the poor kittehs aren’t used to rain and it’s a safe bet they’ll be glad to see it move out.

I have a box on my desk and Hubby has a box on his. We’re wearing both out tonight. LOL
He just came through the room a couple of minutes ago grumbling about needing to work on a vehicle at the garage tonight. But that ain’t a-gonna happen.

Oops, missed this one earlier. Must have been distracted watching Scott walk across the lava towards Big Daddy at the time.
Yeah, great pony! LOL!!

I watched that video a few minutes ago, too. I wish he had turned around and panned the area behind him, so we could see just how high that thing is!
Now I’m watching segments of Rush on Hannity on YT from tonight’s show.

Yes, it would have been nice if he’d panned around. He just cut it off. Can’t blame him for getting scared out there and going back. Out there alone and if he’d fallen through into a void in the lava, no one would have found him for who knows how long .... if ever. *shudder*
