The democrats intimidating Cruz and his wife while they were eating out should have been arrested too.

We all need to take a deep breath, get real, and start applying the laws we have on the books to these thugs.

Thirsting for vengence can make people stupid. We have to accept that no mortal can make all wrongs right. We should do what we can and trust God to sort it out in the end. I reckon that one reason the Left has so many more unhinged vengence nuts is because they trust a crack pot ideology about bringing utopia to Earth over God

What if they, say, harass a pol in a restaurant to the point the pol feared for his or her safety so then left?

I’d say that harassing person should do time as well. There’s a fine line here. One person threatened to harm someone else. Another did verbally harm someone else. Was the threat real? I guess the court thought so.

Threatening, telegraphing your intention to assassinate a political enemy is a sure was to end up in prison. It also will surely prevent your success in the plan.

And to show how such a thing is pure foolishness, assassinations and attempts at assassinations make heroes and martyrs of your targets and tend to strengthen the resolve of your enemy.
