WINNING! But even Gallup is stupid about guns. The question treats "assault rifles" as synonymous with "semi-automatic guns". I know enough that the "assault rifles" are just a class of semi-auto. Semi-auto includes pistols, many types of revolvers, shotguns, rifles ranging from .22 caliber to elephant guns, and semi-auto sub-machine guns for civilian use. Assault rifle has a specific definition concerning its design as a military small arms.
