More than seven years after President Donald Trump launched his political career by questioning then-President Barack Obamas citizenship, Democrats are still struggling to find the right strategy to fight back against his racially-charged rhetoric.
After years of taunting from Trump, Sen. Elizabeth Warren revealed her DNA results this week proving her Native American roots. If it was an effort to take on Trump directly, it didnt seem to work. The president continued his mocking references to her as Pocahontas and she managed to offend Native Americans who felt their heritage was being used as a political prop. [ ]
As Democrats gear up for a presidential primary season thats likely to feature multiple women and people of color, some are saying its time for a new approach. [ ]
The answer for prospective 2020 candidates, according to some activists, is to present an authentic counterpoint to Trumps provocations. Thats one reason Warrens move was problematic to some. It seemed a departure from Massachusetts Democrats usual playbook of hammering the president on the issues and largely ignoring his personal attacks. Some understood the impulse, but saw Warrens response as an unforced error that distracted from her message and her brand.

“his racially-charged rhetoric” Always a false premise to start, and it did not take long here.
It’s not just a false premise; it’s a bald-faced lie.
“...his racially charged rhetoric” but never give a specific example. Ever.
“Proving notes of Native American heritage”? It’s not only the Dems who are losing, it’s the media, and all Americans with common sense know exactly how unhinged crazy left wing the media has become.

What does her Hairdresser do, put on a Blindfold on when she climbs in her Chair?
She must have asked for the Hassan Chop style.
What a dumbass this writer proves herself to be. Liawatha Warren proved proved that she might possibly be 1/1024 American Indian - half the trace percentage of even the average white American.
Sounds more like a gaggle or hord of circus acts
But since her “geneticist” didn’t use Native American DNA samples for comparison, instead using samples of Peruvian, Colombian and Mexican DNA, the chance becomes zero. Which it was to begin with. The DNA test proves how white she is (oh noes), more white than a lot of Americans.
She’s going for that geeky White intellectual chick look. Talk about cultural appropriation! I’ll bet she has every Sarah Mclaughlin album.
Playing the Race Card. Rats are obsessed with race and its paid them dividends up to now.
It doesnt work against Trump.
Actually, she didn't even prove that. She proved she *might* be 1/1024 south American. That was the DNA used for comparison because the "researcher" had no American Indian DNA. Researcher in italics because I have reservations about the qualifications and ethics of a researcher that says S. American DNA qualifies as American Indian DNA.
This is a steaming pantload from start to finish.
The president continued his mocking references to her as Pocahontas ...
No, Mz. BuckWhacky, he calls her Fauxcahontas. Know how to pronounce that? Doh!

Judge Judy used to correct them but guess she got caught up in PC...now she is ‘restricted’ to turning to Byrd and saying (softly) this is going to be easy....
