Me too. Alamo Plaza is a very unique place. Years ago before the Riverwalk hotels got so expensive I could go to SA for conventions or training leave the hotel with a cup of coffee and sit in Alamo Plaza at 6 AM and think about the battle that was fought where I was sitting.
Great-great grandpa fought during the Seize of Bexar and later was one of the scouts who captured Santa Ana at San Jacinto.
