TECUN UMAN, Guatemala — A standoff between thousands of Central American migrants trying to reach the United States and Mexican police stretched through the night with some migrants hanging from the closed border gate wailing "there are children here" while others slept on the crowded bridge linking Guatemala to Mexico.
But they were met Friday by a wall of police with riot shields on the Mexican side of the bridge. About 50 managed to push their way through before officers unleashed pepper spray and the rest retreated, joining the sea of humanity on the bridge.
Police and immigration agents began letting small groups of 10, 20 or 30 people through the gates if they wanted to apply for refugee status. Once they file a claim, they can go to a shelter to spend the night.
As night fell on the bridge, the migrants' frustration turned to despair as women clutching small children took up the rows in front of the gate pleading with the Mexican federal police. Some migrants yelled "We are hungry!" Others wailed that they had children while others set up tarps to prepare for the night sleeping on the increasingly dirty and befouled bridge.
A Mexican marine official with a loudspeaker approached the gate and told migrants they would be taken in trucks to "a humanitarian attention center" in Tapachula, a border city in the Mexican state of Chiapas. But the official did not say when this would happen.

Let them eat cake. On a more serious note, there are plenty of rats and rodents in the bush that they can go kill and have for dinner. It’s not our problem. It’s not the problem of the Mexican government. They put themselves in that situation.

According to some reports, he is feeding them already. Funny how none of the news clips show them eating. Ever. Supposedly, Soros is providing them cash, food, water, and even portable restroom facilities along the way. Four thousand creature on a multi-week trek ... someone’s taking care of them.

spend the money they were paid by Soros , obamas people and the Democrat people. Then they can go south to Brazil where that great thing called socialism exists and where everyone is equal.
Soros/Hellary are feeding them and giving them diapers. I want to see the buses. Stop the buses and you stop the horde. All it’ll take is one to admit they’re being paid to move north. A mob like this doesn’t just form on it’s own. They must be being paid. Get into the US and a bag of money is waiting.
The big question is what if that money isn’t waiting? What happens then? An all out war?
It’ll be Trump’s fault when they’re met by sleazy lawyers who get them in. The demonrats will say it’s Trump’s fault and he failed on his promise to secure the border. All the while it’s the demonrats who are busing them here and promising them a bag of gold at the finish line.
To be sure, Soros has a taco truck parked beside the buses they’re using between photo ops. No way they got as far as they have just walking.
