I blame this on the people who have been denying that there is any such thing as overpopulation. It is our biggest problem, ever since Adam and Eve. Just admit it. Read Malthus, one of the geniuses of the human race. Everything we are whining about today he predicted.
The numbers of people of European descent (whites) have been declining for decades.
The privileged few who complained about overpopulation have also been harping for decades that they must move the hordes into western culture countries from countries further to the south in order keep the labor pool large enough.
I blame this on liberals who demand whites in western nations shouldn't have babies (which is less than two, less than replacement) all while ignoring the 3rd-world peoples who have masses of babies that they can't feed or care for in 3rd-world nations to the south of us, and those same liberals demand we take in all those 3rd-world babies. Well, f' that! We don't want them coming here while being told we should abort our own kids.
The problem is not overpopulation. The problem is the ignorance and superstition that rules south of the border.
I see your point about population in this thread, too, after having seen it from the wrong perspective the first time. You’re right. Overpopulation is the problem.
But if you like, look at this side of the problem, too. First I’ll concede that there are individuals who tend more towards lifelong learning and ingenuity in every nation, and individuals who avoid modifying their behaviors and circumstances, also in every nation.
At the same time, though, some populations are generally more ready than others to be a little larger. At the least, some cultures generally adapt relatively a little more quickly to more peaceful, productive interactions and better management of resources.
As you are probably aware, there are natural limiters to population sizes. There are even some limiters that we don’t fully understand, yet.
As for Malthus, some followers are more self-concerned and indulge in their own points of view. Others continue learning as a more diverse pastime and see problems from various points of view (those who study Malthusians and other psychopaths).
