Arizona is trending blue. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) squeaked by in 2012, but he’s opting not to run for re-election due to abysmal approval numbers. It’s now Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema and Republican Congresswoman Martha McSally duking it out to replace him. The race has been tight, though the vicious battle over Brett Kavanaugh and his Supreme Court nomination seems to have generated a surge of support for McSally who is leading by a solid six-points. It could be an outlier, but the bad news hitting the Sinema campaign has been pervasive in the final weeks. She stretched the truth about her upbringing, she called Arizona the crazy state, she said it was a meth lab of Democracy; she tried to summon witches to protest the Iraq War. It’s a mess. Now, she’s going after stay-at-home moms for “leeching off their husbands.” Bre Payton at The Federalist has more:

“These women who act like staying at home, leeching off their husbands or boyfriends, and just cashing the checks is some sort of feminism because they’re choosing to live that life,” she told Scottsdale nightlife magazine 944. “That’s bullshit. I mean, what the f*** are we really talking about here?”

In an interview with KTAR on Wednesday, Sinema was asked if she considered herself a “proud Democrat,” a descriptor she balked at, insisting that she’s a “proud Arizonan,” and that she doesn’t think either political party is doing a good job.

So, she’s not a proud Democrat, she hates stay-at-home moms, tried to summon witches, and thinks her state is full of crazy meth heads. It seems the middle of the road and rational Sinema was never real. Then again, Democrats seldom are who they say they are. To liberals, we once again see that feminism is something that they feel is only meant for them. That's fine. These folks are the most miserable people on the planet. The Left can keep them.

My wife and I have been married over 35 years. She is a homemaker, and that is what she always wanted to be. She is a university graduate, but is Southern old school.
I love her more today than I did the day I married her.
I am retired now, but I did make enough money that we could live comfortably, and within our means. We did not spend foolishly. Our house is paid off and we have no debt.

A retired military officer, McSally served in the United States Air Force from 1988 to 2010 and rose to the rank of colonel. Excellent, except that while I have sympathy for our military women who don’t want to wear an abaya, it concerns me that she sued the US Dept of Defence. Maybe I’m too old-fashioned. Still, she’s better in every way possible than Kyrsten Sinema.

I am all for not matching mob violence on the left with mob violence on the right which would be to fall into the trap they have tried to set for us. But not fight back? Not point out right up front THEIR outrageous behavior - their prime leadership candidate's position - you know, SINEMA is the abusive mob-moll b's name here. Yes I want to go out and smash faces. The faces of the wusses on our side who can't ever get to a point.
The reason they can't get to a point is that they want the passive aggressive role. They like it. They relish it. It's a whole lot better than having to show leadership when you discover you have to run the whole place, which GOPeeers don't want to do.

Her ads running in AZ are all about McSally lying about her, which is a lie on her part as all these videos prove, nothing about what she has done for AZ as she worked in our state gov. or what she has done since she went to DC.

God I hate Republicans. I am all for being polite and civil. But you can be civil and still be tough and direct and to the point. Civil does not mean mamby-pamby. Civil means recognizing that others have rights including a point of view and a right to state it and where they are right you should respect it. It' doesn't mean being a whimp, like this kind of writing here.

Sort of like WJC and his ‘I am not a draft dodger’, the people that went and VOLUNTEERED in the Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard in that era were the draft dodgers....

I guess - in the true sense of the word - I was ‘Dodging the Draft when I enlisted USN in 1956 figuring to ‘Beat the Draft’ and getting it over with rather than sit around 2 or 3 years and HAVE to go in the Army...
I did spend 8 years in so when I ‘got out’, I got out and the ‘Barbarians would have had to be pounding on the Gates’ before I would have gotten called back BUT I probably would have ‘volunteered’ again had that happened.
