Yes. Why? And I think a lot of them later regret it.
They have been sold on having a “career” first, family second.
The problem is, biology never takes second. A 44 year old woman only has about a 1% chance of getting pregnant naturally.
And the whole career thing is a lie. Very few actually make it to the top, and even those that do don’t stay very long. In the end, you get a lot of middle aged and older women with no family (they traded it for the career) whose careers are effectively over.
Then what? The women who have several kids and keep their husbands have something at that point. Those that bet everything on career have nothing. Family is a far better investment for the latter half of your life than a career.
So sad. They are missing out on one of the greatest joys in life.

Many of them aren’t choosing that at all. They’re saying that to put on a brave face.
Men aren’t interested anymore. The train load of crap that goes with a relationship and the law being stacked so heavily against said men, plus economic factors have caused a large percentage of young men to run the calculation and say “not worth it”.
As best I can tell, it’s a reasonable assessment.
In every country, the more education women have, the fewer children they have. Believe it or not, this is even happening in Turkey and Iran, much to the dismay of the mullahs. Read the book, “How Civilizations Die and Why Islam is Dying, Too”.
Japan and Germany are toast. In another 50 years, there won’t be enough women of childbearing age to save their societies.
The reason Islam is dying (according to the author) is because Islam is a tribal religion based more on clans than anything else and cannot survive in a modern world.
