I was lucky to some extent.

My daughter went to one of the most “progressive” universities in America. She had her fill of insane leftists professors and somehow maintained her objectivity.

She was known by everyone as being a conservative Republican.

One of her “Self proclaimed Communist” Professors asked her to edit his new book. A book he needed to publish in order to maintain his position. It was a joke. The guy couldn’t even write a proper coherent sentence, never mind an entire book. She took on the challenge and insisted that her name, NOT be listed in any credits.

These commies are idiots living in a fantasy world surrounded by like minded fools that happen to think their prestige grants them authority.

My son also attended a very progressive university.

Before he started, I asked him to read Rush's books: The Way Things Ought To Be (1992) and See, I Told You So (1993).

During his university years I worried if peer pressure was swaying him to the darkside.

Not sure if it had or not, at graduation I asked him if reading the two books had been helpful.

His reply: they had been invaluable because whenever he listened to his classmates (and professors) either spouting or getting suckered by leftist crap, he knew the basic facts and could see how they were being duped.

When I asked if he had debated politics with his classmates, he said because many had been conned so much he didn't want to waste his time. He felt the 'lucky ones' would eventually see the light while many would live their lives in ignorant darkness.

I'm convinced his reading Rush's books has had a huge positive impact on his life.

One of my greatest wishes is to thank Rush in person for what he has done for my son. Such will never happen, but I'm deeply grateful my son increasingly realizes how critically important Rush has been to him not only in personal terms of his understanding the world but also in broader terms of a growing percentage of the citizenry understanding the insidious threats we face.
