Yesterday I received a text message from moveon.org asking me to vote in the California midterms..have absolutely NO idea how the heck they got my phone number just said “Hi this is Janice from moveon.org asking you to help defeat Republicans blaa blaa blaa” and to type in YES if I want to continue receiving texts so I just deleted it..never EVER received a message from them before and have absolutely NO idea how they got my number

If you sign up on the Internet, you can get on someone’s mailing list.

Just remember, you have no expectation of privacy online.
