#42. Re “What does a washer represent”? Having been in the plumbing supply business for some years past, I would say it represents a “leaky part” of McCain (his mouth, his superego, his betrayal of still missing POWS from VN, or just his bladder).
McCain could have been of a high stature like his father (whom I met) and his grandfather (some of whose papers I have read at the National Archives), but he chose the wrong way to go about it.
For his VN service, I salute him. For his political career, I diss him. He put his political career before honor. That is the American Tragedy known as John McCain, Flier and Senator.
