Keep all the families together on the OTHER side, let Meh-hee-koo figure out what to do with them while their requests are processed by the one and only asylum judge on duty, who only works half=days on alternate Thursdays.

When the US was young and didn’t have a navy, they allowed privateers to deal with pirates. Simple deal - you catch ‘em, you keep their loot.
With that early precedent in mind, if we don’t have enough budget to control immigration, we should allow private citizens to fill the gap. Not sure what the “reward” would be. Maybe allow them to keep a couple as tax-free household employees.
Caravan or no caravan, the President needs to send a massive number of troops to the border to stop this ongoing invasion, pronto. But the caravan gives him a good excuse to do so immediately.
