HOUSTON (KXAN) -- President Trump is planning a Texas-sized tailgate before his Houston Make-America Great Again rally scheduled at the Houston Toyota Center on Monday.
His campaign decided to host what they are calling the 'Big Texas Tailgater' after receiving 100,000 requests for tickets to the previously planned rally with Ted Cruz.
The tailgate party will feature food trucks, music by the Marcus Eldridge Band and the Will Carter Band, appearances by Trump Campaign spokespeople and big screens to see President Trump’s speech.
“Texas is big and so will be the turnout for our MAGA rally in Houston, Texas Monday,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.
Gov. Greg Abbott will be at the rally as well.
The tailgate will start in the afternoon and lead up to the rally, which is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
I’d ask for guns and ammo! Goode Olde Boz in Tejas get with it. Go help those guys on the Border -—— They are going to need it!

Last week, DJT boasted about the biggest site in all of Texas for his rally, and took flack when the NRG conference center (11k) was announced. I joked the NRG stadium next door (40k - Texans) would be used for overflow. Damn if that wasn't enough.
I suppose he knows TX. Is a concealed carry state..I’m just feeling uncomfortable with this visit tomorrow
