Republican congressman Kevin Cramer leads Democratic senator Heidi Heitkamp by 16 points in the latest poll of the North Dakota Senate race — the biggest lead that Cramer has held so far.

According to the survey of 650 likely voters, Cramer leads Heitkamp 56-40 percent. The poll was conducted by Strategic Research Associates from October 12–19. The most recent poll prior to this one put him ahead by twelve points, and before that, an NBC survey gave him a ten-point lead.

Well, at least her vote kept Kavanaugh from becoming a Supreme Court Justice!

Good news, but we still need to win many many other seats next month that are way too close for comfort (FL, IN, MO, AZ, NV...)

Cramer was always the “leading indicator” in this race. I think you can expect other races to follow suit.

Here's a picture of Heitkamp, McCaskill, Tester, and Donnelly.

Hopefully, there will be a couple more dems to be added to the pile.

Thanks for posting.

As an added bonus, Cramer is a Trump Republican. The previous guy who lost by less than 3,000 votes to Heitkamp was a GOPe Republican.

Rep. Cramer originally decided not to challenge Heitkamp.
He thought her re-election was a sure thing. President
Trump convinced him to run. He is the real deal, I was a delegate to the 1980 and 1988 North Dakota Republican State Conventions and visited with him a few time.

Senator Cramer has a nice ring to it.

As the late great Chick Hearn of the Lakers would say when the game was no longer in doubt....”This one is in the refrigerator. The eggs are cooling, the butter’s getting hard and the jello is jigglin. It’s all over”

Cramer was always the “leading indicator” in this race. I think you can expect other races to follow suit.

Congressman Cramer came out early in endorsing Donald Trump for president, going against the conventional wisdom of the state GOP. Trump's win here in ND was overwhelming. No way was Heitkamp ever going to beat him. Of course, she's made Kevin's run easier with a really bad campaign but voting against tax cuts and Kavanaugh was the clincher.

Cramer had to be talked into running for the Senate by President Trump. Trump came through with multiple visits to a state that is ignored most every election cycle.

Cramer Expands Lead over Democratic Senator Heitkamp in North Dakota Race

My take was that when Heitkamp voted against Kavanaugh, she knew and was admitting she was toast, and was cementing some high paid do-nothing position in a crooked DC dem "thinktank".

...bad campaign but voting against tax cuts and Kavanaugh was the clincher.

Congressman Cramer was interviewed on Fox news shortly after the Kavanaugh vote and asked about the Kavanaugh effect. Without hesitation, Congressman Cramer stated: "I've always been ahead."

I believe Heitkamp was toast the day Congressman Cramer announced his candidacy for the Senate.

Oh and President Trump's visits were icing on the cake.

I agree. Cramer was going to win this race. A huge margin of victory is sweet and should really help all the other races in the state.

Thanks for that information. Hopefully, more and more Republicans are getting aboard the Trump train.

If anyone has not seen Rand Paul's speech at a recent Kentucky rally...it is worth watching. Rand Paul is on board.
