I work with guys who maintain our nuclear stockpile.

We need new ones. Trust me.

“I work with guys who maintain our nuclear stockpile.”

I spent several years underground supporting our Minuteman 3 arsenal. That was in the early 80’s. They looked obsolete back then.

exactly. Most of our nuclear weapons are over 30 years old. The casing and trigger mechanisms have a life expectancy of about 30 to 40 years.

If we wait another 10 years at least half our weapons will be duds. I think I'm right on these numbers. A few years ago I remember it being 10 years before they expect large numbers of weapons simply will not work.
