The media remind me of my husband in a way.
He says “we don’t have any orange juice.”
I say “it is on the top shelf, on the right side behind the milk”
He says “I can’t find it”. Then I go, move the milk and hand it to him.
The media want things handed to them in just this way, and if they can’t see it, it isn’t there because they will not move the milk.
Perfect description! When this happened to me with my kids (not my husband) I considered it willful, and a bit passive aggressive on their part, to try to show that they were superior to me. After a while, I got tired of moving the “milk” to show them the error of their ways, because they already knew they should look harder. I just let them have to choose something else other than orange juice. When I kept at it, they figured out that they should look harder, instead of drinking water or milk.
LOL. My wife and I go through the same thing. She can easily find something I cannot.
