Students who were raised with Participation Trophies and always told they were “winners” regardless of performance are traumatized by everything that is not exactly what they want. Sorry, Snowflake, real life has no guarantees that you get exactly what you want and the sooner you grow up enough to realize that, the better.

I'm also an ASU Sun Devil. BS in Business Administration, 1969.

I live in Florida now but I'm currently on a road trip to Tempe to sell a house I own here.

This is embarrassing. Disgusting. PTSD? Really? From Hillary losing? What "trauma" did these idiots suffer?

When I attended ASU, it was rated the number one party school in the nation because of the warm climate and casual lifestyle.

Now it should be known as the crybaby school for immature toddlers sequestered in their safe spaces.

Some advocate the reinstitution of the draft. I am no fan of this proposal, because of the enormous expense that would be needed to get these overweight, feminized males into the same condition as their Greatest Generation grandfathers, or even their Baby Boomer fathers. God help the U.S. military if we ever had to engage in a massive conflict with Russia or China, neither of which have the large number of snowflakes and soy boys we or the Western Europeans have. If Putin had the military force that Brezhnev had, there would be little to stop the Red Army from the Russian border to the Atlantic Ocean. I exclude the Poles, as they always fight their hearts out, but they live in the European equivalent of Nebraska, with hardly any natural boundaries.

When I graduated with my master’s from ASU in 1985, according to Playboy Magazine that year, ASU was the “number one party school” in the country.

Most of the partying happened in the sororities and fraternities, but there was also a general “party feel” to the university also. I was an undergraduate at ASU from 1972 through 1976. At that time the drinking age in Arizona was 18(later raised to 21 years old). The beer flowed freely at the football games which were raucous and crazy events.

Being an engineering major and working part-time to support myself, I did not have the time or money to participate in the partying.

I attended Thursday's evening's Sun Devil football game against the Stanford. We lost but the game was exciting and loud. The energy in the stadium was electrifying.

The student section was as raucous as ever.

I would bet that there weren't too many PSTD snowflakes partying in the south end zone student section.

I put my house on the market next week and will return to Florida.

But I have reveled in the enjoyment of returning to my alma mater and Tempe, the college town I grew up in. Lots of friends, family and fond memories.

Not enough. They are still enrolled, still attending, still snowflaking at every conceivable opportunity. That’s my summation since there has been no headlines about the rapid drop in ASU enrollment.

“The cause is an education system...”

Nah, that’s a contributing factor but bad parenting is much more fundamental.

My grandmother made the pompom squad uniforms those years (’72 - ‘76.) My dad is a grad of ASU and is mortified at the way they are acting. I, too, have a TON of family still in Tempe... my uncle owned and operated Ray’s ASU Barber Shop. :o)

I wouldn’t trust a lot of snowflakes to guard a dumpster, much less repair a $100 million aircraft.
