Yep. that was a heartbreaking story. He ended up not knowing his wife, but fell in love with another patient in the place he was living and they got married.

I knew about O’Connor’s husband (because of Alzheimers) falling in love with a woman in the nursing home. I didn’t know that he married the woman!
How heartbreaking for Sandra. She said she just wanted her husband to be happy.
Her husband died in 2009.

Omg that is so sad. In retrospect she should have stayed on the court. Poor thing, and now she goes the same way. Just like my parents. I HATE THIS DISEASE and I hope we find the secret to preventing it.
