More "Moderate" "Democratic" "Rebels"?
The first thing Turkey did when they decided to join the fight against ISIS was to bomb our Kurdish allies in Iraq. It was sheer luck none of our SOF teams were hit.
Branding all the Kurds as PKK is the same as calling all Americans Antifa members. They also sold stolen oil despite embargoes, and gave ISIS sanctuary along their southern border. Turkey is no ones friend.
Turkey (Erdogan) is not going to give up on Manbij, if he has a shot at it, but I doubt he would make it a major effort now. His big play now seems to be splitting the US/Saudi alliance, and undermining MBS. I expect he will avoid rocking the boat while that is in play.
