The leaders of Mexico and all others on the path are pocketing amounts for facilitating or at least not interfering.

Have been gathering info, thinking on this. When this all first started, so, it's a few thousand - that's something that do-gooder organizations would typically be handling. After the numbers swelled like they did and if the build-up continues on this trajectory - and I've heard word of another invasion "caravan" now forming in El Salvador - we may be facing something in numbers north of an entire Corps. That is in an entirely different territory of support logistics requirements to sustain that number of invaders. We're looking at state support - a government or an alliance of governments is involved. Mexico is at the end transaction side as things stand right now - there is someone further up the chain that's pouring in the support to get administered in and by Mexico.

What happens should this horde arrive at our border? There are multiple options for their commander(s) to consider, dependent on the ability to keep their people supplied of course - an army travels on its stomach. Occupy and shutdown major border ports and disrupt commerce? There is still brand-name manufacturing done in Mexico for US companies, along with US distributors dependent on a wide array of consumer products expressly of Mexican origin - it would bring that commerce to a standstill, having an economic impact on this side of the border - but would that be something that Mexico could tolerate since they would share in that negative impact. They could try and rush that entire mob across the border at a specific location, but the problem is that we could rush reinforcements in and turn that locale into a hardened defense point rather quickly. Another scenario is that they break into smaller groups and try to gain entry at multiple points all along the border, and do it in multiple waves. I'm expecting something of a combination - port blocking, a big rush - which can also serve as a feint as a set up for smaller groups set on probing our perimeter for entry. Our law enforcement is stretched as it is, and they have to eat, sleep and use the head at some time. I'm certain that wearing down our forces by attrition is a central concern in the overall invasion strategy - this is where our military comes in, to take up that slack.

I so agree with you.

Oh my gosh. Poor Venezuela! They are so very poor. Giving up their own children because they can’t feed them.

My heart aches for them and I’m praying for them.

The communists stir up the poor to attack the establishment and tear it down so trhey can take over.

Che guevarra had nothing on theses caravan Mob organizers,

Now Trump is the target

Might as well stop all our tax dollars south of the border.

I'd like to do that but China and Russia will take up the slack.

If North Korea can scrape up enough cash for a nuclear missile program, I think that Venezuela can find an invasion.

from American Thinker:

Because the one clue we have starts with the two governments of Guatemala and Honduras, both of which have conservative, anti-Chavista governments. They also have disgustingly rabid leftwing oppositions, the kind of people who openly admire Hugo Chavez and his utterly failed socialist revolution. They like Cuba's government, by the way, too. They are rabid leftwingers and they seek above all to destabilize and topple the countries of their origin in order to see those countries join their heroes. They can't get elected anymore, so this is what they do.

Although said to be conservative, the governments, at least Hondouras, are ineffective.

Houdouras should be invaded and a military government established to impose martial law and clean house. If worth a damn, existing leaders can serve as advisors to the cleanup.
