It is good news.

Trump has turned Rosenstein and is now protecting him.

There are too many ongoing investigations for Rosenstein to testify now.

Have patience. Soon, Rosenstein’s testimony will be more than, “I can’t talk about ongoing investigations”.

The investigations will be complete, and all will be revealed.

Trust Trump.

You appear to be on the right track... Trump has had plenty of reason to fire him, but he hasn’t and that makes you wonder... Is he actually going to be the man who exonerates Trump?

Mueller might even come to a reasonable conclusion that exonerates and absolves Trump from wrongdoing, points a finger towards Russia and then points another finger towards Obama appointees and their zeal for investigating the Trump campaign, while completely ignoring Hillary’s campaign and her connections to Russia. The conclusion of this investigation may be the beginning of a broader investigation of Obama’s appointees and their misuse of government agencies for political purposes.

The one word in your post that smacks to me of credibility is "protecting."

If Rosenstein is truly and honestly spilling his guts, he needs protection from the wet works squads of the Deep State like no other.

Rosenstein is central to the Seth Rich saga, that of Antonin Scalia's demise and corrupt judge pay-offs. All those lead directly to the big players going down (for a lot more than tax evasion).

If I were Rod, I wouldn't believe any amount of protection would do the job against the baddies he has directed knows, except that Trump has already shown his keen ability to stay well ahead of his would-be assassins.

If Rod wants to enjoy any kind of a pleasant future and not end up like No Name, he may well have seen the need to "play ball," now and with urgency.

Since Trey Gowdy's committee is not very likely to be the venue of any big, important turns for the good, letting Rosenstein spill his guts in a well-ordered manner in front of the DIA will keep Trump getting good traction toward draining the swamp, putting bad guys in jail and inching toward Making America Great Again.

I agree. I think Trump is holding the keys to the door of Rosenstein’s Supermax Cell in his hands. Trump, for whatever reason, did not want Rosenstein testifying in any forum this close to the election. Something BIG is up and Trump does not want to rock the boat.
