Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Maryland is a backwater. They didn’t even secede from the Union in 1861, they’re such bumpkins. Racists, of course. Why else would anyone own slaves. So naturally, they would be prejudiced against someone just because they were educated at Hogwarts, an ivy league institution. West Virginia, however, is a bastion of liberality. They not only seceded from the Union in 1861, but they seceded from Virginia and rejoined the Union again, and still kept slaves, proving their racism. So therefore, they are very tolerant there of Conjuro-Americans, and don’t hold a woman’s coven affiliation against her. Hold on. Did my brain just jump the tracks? Of course not. Vote for the witch or you’re a religious bigot. Right? Right.

Where I grew up lots of hex signs painted on the farm houses. Some of us aren’t Southern Babtist pure. Now, if she’s cray-cray (most Ds these days appear to me to be) then by all means bring on the ridicule. The Dims don’t seem to like that, to the point of banning folks who just want a quick laugh at the Dims expense.

Well, she can’t be in Griffindor. They’re the brave and heroic types. Ravenclaw is for smart but eccentric people, and I don’t think she’s smart. So that leaves Hufflepuff.
Robert Byrd regretted his erstwhile bigotry, and claimed that he has met white n#@#rs, too. And that must mean that he’s genuinely penitent. Because when Trent Lott said once that had Strom Thurmond won his bid for the Presidency in 1948, there would have been a lot less problems, it didn’t matter how much he apologized or tried to explain, the Dems kept at him and at him until he resigned and left public life. Strom Thurmond, as it turns out, as governor of SC in 1946, vigorously prosecuted 26 participants in a lynch mob and that was the last lynching in SC ever, so I guess Trent Lott saying that there would have been a lot less lynchings had Thurmond been elected POTUS instead of Truman was outrageous and unforgivable to Dems. But Robert Byrd saying he’s met some “white n*##ers” was sufficient contrition and he got a pass.

Just because a woman flies around on a broomstick and wears a black pointed hat and cackles a lot and casts spells on people does not prove they are a witch. They could be just a Democrat.

Perhaps, but I believe that unholy alliance began when the ‘rat party first endorsed abortion which, to no one’s surprise, soon became infanticide. And Satan’s control of the ‘rats was sealed forever when they chose Obama as their leader in 2008.
