Has America Become a Dictatorship Disguised as a Democracy?

FUNDAMENTALLY changed the Republic into a Democracy

That is an incorrect assertion and proven incorrect by reading the Constitution.

Officially the United States of America is a constitutional federal republic and will remain so until Article 4, Section 4 is altered.

A cut above Thomas and Dobson is Robert Bork's "Slouching Towards Gomorrah" which could have saved tem some time if they'd been listening. Even better is Bork's "Coercing Virtue" which is what the Moral Majority was attempting to do. See:

The real danger in our children's future is not so much legislators or the executive branch. The bringing down of the Free World will be failing to stop the ever-increasing of an active judiciary and the immense power of judicial review that our progenitors have allowed them.

The SCOTUS is the ruling dictator (oligarchy). The other branches really don’t matter.

Perhaps you know that at the outset, Thomas Jefferson had already prophesied that this would be the result if the tenure of each Supreme Justice was for the remainder of one's life (revocable only by death, abdication by voluntary retirement, or by successful impeachment).

Never forget that the various decisions of this oligarchy are rarely of one mind, often consisting of a form of madness on the basis of irreconcilable differences.

If and when in the mode of operation judicial activism prevails, and dedication to preserving the original intent of the Constitutional provisions is lost, then that madness that overwhelms a justness will be the norm, and the condition of the state will no longer be based on the concept of freedom of choice of the governed individual constituent.

He/she will then have become a subject of the state, not a citizen able to freely follow a life of liberty and pursuit of self-interests.

Seems like an internet screed. No facts and reason. We have a hundred million gun owners who will not be dictated to. That alone will prevent a dictatorship. If we can ever get our school systems back under control of the parents (via school vouchers, homeschooling, and charter schools) then the next generation will be intelligent enough to detect and kick out the liars in government and the media.
