What I find most troubling is that these are the ELECTED members of the Pittsburgh School Board who did this.

Pittsburgh was always a Democrat town, but it was always made up of blue-collar union Democrats who nonetheless embraced traditional (mostly Catholic) values. It’s unimaginable that Democrat-controlled school boards of the past ever would have taken this vote.

No more. Pittsburgh’s tech economy revival is importing scores of Millenial techies with San Francisco values. It’s ain’t your Babushka’s Pittsburgh anymore.

Millenials are largely well-indoctrinated progressives, from pubic school through college, with media/social media augementation. Good little socialists, wannabe social controllers, Big Brother advocates.
