My son asked if I wanted to go to this movie with him. We enjoy the U.S. military movies especially recent ones that treat the U.S. (somewhat) positively (Zero Dark Thirty, Lone Survivor, The Hurt Locker, 12 Strong, Black Hawk Down, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Letters From Iwo Jima, Hacksaw Ridge, Flags of Our Fathers).
The NYT review is mediocre at best. What have you heard about this new movie? It's being released tomorrow, Oct. 26.

I probably would feel better about it if The New York Times gave it an outright bad review...

Seen the trailers and it looks like a great movie. Just suspend disbelief and enjoy the show!
