“I believe that if we would check those who are legitimately in need of asylum”

They seem to have about 5,000 buddies.

Look at the pictures. See anyone who looks like a distressed mother and child, or do they look more like young men who should be in their own military and fighting for their home AT HOME! Still, the Democrats will sift through the crowd until the find one such pair, or they’ll just add their own.

This invasion is an act of love.

Family values don't stop at the border.

“KASICH: We got to start putting ourselves in the shoes of other people. We’ve got to start thinking about the consequences that others suffer. And if we’ve been spared those by the grace of God, let us be appreciative, let us count our blessings and let us reach out to those who have less and let’s stop putting up walls around ourselves and not understanding the plight, the trouble, and the problems of others.”

How about understanding the plight of US citizens, Gov. Kasich?

There are rocks and trees in Honduras. Enough to build lots of houses. And gardening help is at their fingertips.

If 5,000 honest hombres march into a village, a few local bullies will demonstrate about how fast and far a human can run.

The tools these people would use if they got jobs in the USA are cheap.

They can be just as productive in Honduras, if not more so, since they don’t get snow and ice like Ohio.

US citizens need US jobs.

Kasich is an opportunist who believes we are all idiots.

He knows this caravan is not comprised of starving, oppressed people, who spontaneously decided to march to the promised land.

This is a put up job to allow criminals, drug smugglers, and child traffickers in to the U.S. to undermine America.

Sure, there are some who have a legitimate objective, but they too are being USED by the criminal, anti-American element.

“United States poverty is not really poverty.”

Monthly mortgage payment $1,103

Amount in bank $900

Failure to come up with $203 means losing nearly everything you have ever worked for.

That’s one form of American poverty.

Just in case you're lurking:  What a gutless coward you are, Kasich.

Just change parties already, cuz you're sure as hell not one of US.

I was in what used to be the leading mall in the area.

There was more help than customers in most of the stores.

These American retail jobs are going to disappear when the leases are up.

Let them apply for asylum in Guatemala or Mexico.

The asylum law states that one has to apply in the FIRST country in which they arrive.

If there ever was a more dishonest false dichotomy, I don’t know where I’ve seen it. I can be in favor of orderly immigration, including a wall, and still be sensible of and sympathetic to the plight of Central Americans. Kasich is dishonest, punto y fin.

To Kasich,

Man-up.
If you see a problem, take a risk. Open your own doors.
Quit crying like a helpless baby.

“in Guatemala, where they would say to your daughter, you know, if you don’t do what we want, we will rape your daughter or we will kill your son if he’s not a drug mule?”

And what exactly will stop this from happening in the USA too if we let these people in?

What is the magic of caravans that ensures that they don’t have an average percentage of criminals (or even more) in them?

Once Cuba sent its prison population to the USA and our system wasn’t able to prevent it.

Should I be expected to believe criminal justice systems that presume charged people are guilty are incapable of dealing with gangs?

It looks like Kasich needs to haul his sorry ass down to Honduras on a permanent basis in order to assuage his guilt.
