I love Jimmy Reed though (Not sure if his version is the one you had in mind)

I do associate that song with Jimmy Reed, who is a personal fav.

He played at my high school "canteen" in '68 or '69. One thing I recall was his wife, sitting next to him, singing the lyrics into his ear, just off the beat. If you listen closely to some of his songs you can hear this.
