sending explosives

Were they explosives or made to look that way?

Were the devices actually capable of detonation? What explosive was used in the device?

Notice the DOJ, and the clown media, are parsing all their words careful to avoid telling the truth There was a bomb threat, there was zero danger.

This sounds like some road side flares stuffed in a pipe with some wires and a digital clock attached. Not a real bomb but just something made to look like a bomb.

Standard Bureaucratic BS. Want to make this look more serious then it actually is so they can posture for the cameras. If they told the truth this story would be a big nothing.

I think it was sulfur and broken glass in a pipe, so there were explosives, but his initiator mechanism was sub-par and would likely have failed.

Here’s a twitter explanation by a former Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician - https://twitter.com/JarBomb/status/1055999723310645248

My understanding is that they were made to LOOK like bombs (not very convincingly, from the pictures I saw), and did contain some of the necessary “ingredients” of a typical pipe bomb, but just thrown together with no understanding of how these things work together and explode and do damage. Sort of a “gesture” bomb....the work of someone who didn’t and probably couldn’t with his lack of expertise, do any damage.
