Carrying guns would be a violation of the Sabbath laws. Better to have non-Jewish armed guards, but it's not gonna happen.Not a universal position, particularly when the intent is the preservation of life. The position of the Congregation's Rabbi would likely be crucial. Short discussion.

When Governor Tommie ("the Commie") Wolf took office one of his first official actions was to declare that he would not sign ANY death warrantsI hope the jury convicts and he's sentenced to death. The Governor will have the opportunity to act on his convictions by immediately setting the sentence aside replaced by life. Presuming that's an option in Penna.

Presuming that's an option in Penna.Is PA, life without parole is the effective result when a death sentence is not carried out.
