The city limits of St. Louis are small relative to the metro area. It is also where the bulk of the gangs work their magic. This is why there is a push being led by some of the most epic level of stupid politicians to merge the city back into the county. Then the number of murders would count against the total for the whole area, and this would INSTANTLY remove this badge of honor from our great metropolis dontchaknow?
St. Louis has a moonbat crazy leftist mayor at the helm. One of her first acts was to “deal with” removing confederate statues that never bothered anyone. From there, things just got worse. I think the police have been ordered pretty much to stand down in that part of the city, lest they be seen as racist. A nice holdover from the Ferguson debacle. That’s why crime is now out of control.
