Impossible for “unity” or rational civil discussion if the other side is calling you racist and misogynist during every policy discussion. Until identity politics is denounced by the Left, no civility. We can only hope they stop attacking the Right physically.

I now understand that Paul Ryan has the intellect and diplomatic skills to do what is needed in government. However, he lacks the strength of character or commitment to conservative solutions to act as a leader.
Give Paul a script he likes, one with defined do’s and don’ts and he’s a good actor.
Put Paul in an unpredictable situation, where one must make their own rules, perhaps even break the rules of social decorum, and Paul becomes cowed, lost, muted.
The defining moment of clarity was during the first debate Paul Ryan had with Joe Biden. I’ll never forget how Paul was completely thrown off his game by Joe’s barroom brawling manner of speaking. All social courtesies were flushed down the commode. Paul was not ready for that, not even by their next debate.

not exactly - they want to force us to unite in acceptance of many other things too that are really anti-USA. Not just illegals, but lawful immigration of people’s who have no plan to become American’s but maybe in name only, never in their hearts or minds. Also accept their rewritten history of USA. Also accept unwritten revisions to our constitution that courts have forced upon us in their rulings, etc etc etc.
