Unfortunately way too many so-called Republicans (like Ryan) practice the leftist politics of open borders, unfair (to the U.S.) trade, and globalization in general.
When folks like Ryan talk, the more I’m convinced that “leaders” among his party peers know that they are Democrats at heart but would be second-tier helpers in their preferred club. So they come over and talk a good game in the R-Party until they get the reins and...resume their accustomed role as second-tier helpers to their D-Party superiors in DC.
