Sounds like the Nationalist Party in Turkey is going to stay in the Government with AKP, until after the next election, and then see what kind of deal they can get.

Fighting and shifting and politicking are still underway hot and heavy in Syria, but nothing is going to save ISIS in Hajin. Escape, surrender or die.

Sounds like a diversionary attack in Kobani Canton.

The Turks probably popped rounds into Kobani Canton to give the ISIS breakout in Deir ez Zour a better chance - maybe draw reserves off.

With the weather clearing for air cover to resume, ISIS will be more stretched out - they are not getting reinforcements. It is better to engage them in mobile battles anyway, than to have to root them out from well prepared positions.

The only thing they might accomplish is to cover the escape of a few bigwigs. Their main body cannot escape anywhere as a united force. Attrition resumes immediately.

Home by Christmas?

If mot, then Christmas in Hajin.
