A group of Jewish leaders told President Trump that he is no longer welcome in Pittsburgh until he denounces white nationalism following the shooting at a synagogue there over the weekend.
Eleven members of the Pittsburgh affiliate of Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice penned a letter to Trump following the Saturday shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue.

A small group of self described progressives arrogantly decide they speak for the Jewish community, which ironically has no overall leadership, now promote themselves to speaking for Pittsburgh. Next, they'll speak for the nation.
President Trump just ignore them.
Do all whites now have to denounce “white nationalism” before entering Pittsburgh? Have they seceded from the Union? Or are they claiming that Trump has some particular tie to these yahoos that call themselves ‘white nationalists’?
These losers don’t speak for me.
Not only is the killer an anti-Trumper, he specifically hated Trump because Trump has done so much for the Jewish people both in the USA and Israel.
The buck (peso, yen...) stops at Trump, if you are a dimocrat.

We hear ya Red. It is the cowardly media and the Left who thinks they can further smear the Jewish people by lumping them all in the same basket. We are all in this together.
This is the essential element of elitists. They sincerely believe themselves to be superior to all other people. Their wisdom, their morality, their intelligence and their character set them apart in their minds from those less well endowed. These are the true tyrants our Constitution was written to stop. We the people cannot tolerate their insistence upon their own superiority.

I would not be surprised if we see some serious injuries and perhaps deaths soon from clashes tween them and Right thinking American Jews.
This is a time where President Trump should take the high road. Stay away and just keep saying the families are in his prayers. I pray he stays out of it.
Might be eletists, but they're political activists. Not Jewish leader. The problem here is the media which distorts the news. The founders, they'd tolerate political activists, would certainly support the press in the hope that both sides would get reported by someone. Elitists, the founders considered themselves elitists, they weren't fans of the mob.
Bear in mind what's being reported as Jewish leaders is actually a small group in Pittsburgh who describe themselves as "progressive" Jews, whatever that means. Eleven of them wrote a letter telling the President he's not welcome. Interestingly the two most prominent members of the group, Peter Beinert and George Soro's son, forgot his name, didn't sign the letter. The media exploded this to Jewish leadership disinviting Trump. If eleven Jews, I think, represent Jewish leadership the KKK is a major Christian organization. Dishonest, but widely reported and accepted. But imo in valuing a free press, I do not believe the Founders expected an honest press. They weren't that naive. They hoped for the airing of all sides of issues. Not perfect, doesn't always happen.
Nope, even white nationalists can go to Pittsburgh. And hold rallies. Still a free country.
You might note post 216. This is 11 members of a small group, given the membership of Beinert and Soro's kid neither of whom joined the 11 in the letter is likely highly political. The press dishonestly promoted them as Jewish leaders for political expediency. IMO it's not quite the Protocols, but dishonestly attributing a position to the Jewish community in the context of a politically charged issue borders on antisemitism. The disrespect of the value of Jewish life from much of the media is a given.
Should have included that about one in ten articles do acknowledge that the President of the Synagogue stated he’s my President and is welcome any time he’d like to come.
These are not Jewish community leaders. They are a ragtag scurvy of Soros malcontents sowing discord in a suffering community. Shame.
