IIRC, the political poles are switched in EU. Center-right in EU would be like a moderate Democrat in the US.
Close but not quite. There is only pinko-left and far left. Nobody has the concept of limited government like in the USA, and there is a lot of revanchism for the empires of old on the continent.
And what they call “far right” is obviously far left, but with an emphasis on national chauvinism instead of internationalism.
