McSally is from the same Arizona GOP Inc wing that gave us McCain and Flake. I can see why she doesn’t inspire enthusiasm. I still expect her to pull this out, but she will just be another McFlake.

I agree. I think McSally will be more liberal than Flake, just with more backbone - which is a very low standard since Flake has none. I think she understands that TDS doesn't sell well in Arizona and if she wins, that she will have done so on Trump's coattails. I do think she will show some loyalty, but I expect her to stay as close to the middle of the road as she can.

Sinema is running as the "I'm above partisan politics" candidate - the "Can't we all just get along" candidate. Since the TV, newspapers, debate moderators, etc refuse to call her on it, it sells to the low-interest voter.

However, I think the polls are wrong and McSally will win by 5 points. Arizona has a mushy, establishment GOP candidate running against a protected, "I'm above it all" Democrat candidate. If you want to hear the wacky stuff Sinema has said, you must find it on the Internet or listen to conservative talk radio. It won't appear in the MSM.

I strongly want "Glass half full McSally" to beat Sinema, but folks outside Arizona may not be aware of how weak the McSally campaign has been.
