President Trump has put the thousands who are advancing to the U.S. border on notice: “To those in the Caravan, turnaround, we are not letting people into the United States illegally. Go back to your Country and if you want, apply for citizenship like millions of others are doing!” But there is no chance that they will heed his words. They will continue to advance inexorably toward the United States, and what will happen when they get here? A likely answer to that comes from the recent border protests in Gaza.
The Jerusalem Post reported last May: “Some 40,000 Palestinians took part in violent demonstrations at 13 different locations along the fence, throwing stones, explosive devices and Molotov cocktails at the fence and IDF troops, as well as burning tires and launching burning objects such as kites with charcoal or containers of burning fuel with the intention of setting fires in Israeli fields, the IDF said.”
This was a Hamas operation. That same month, Aaron Klein reported in Breitbart: “Hamas, desperate over its increasingly precarious situation in Gaza and eager to please Iranian paymasters, has escalated the premeditated, openly violent campaign aimed at breaching the Israel-Gaza border and attacking nearby Israeli communities.” And Hamas official Salah Bardawil admitted at that time: “In the last rounds of confrontations, if 62 people were martyred, 50 of them were Hamas.” IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus noted: “This proves what so many have tried to ignore: Hamas is behind these riots, and the branding of the riots as ‘peaceful protests’ could not be further from the truth.”
Indeed. But Klein’s observation was correct: “This while the news media hypes Hamas-provided casualty counts and portrays the Gaza rioters as peaceful protesters frustrated that there is no Palestinian state and angry that the U.S. moved its embassy to Jerusalem. In doing so, the news media are actually advancing Hamas’s cause.”
Predictably, the UN sided with Hamas against Israel. World Israel News reported in June: “The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Wednesday rejected a US motion against Hamas, but affirmed a Palestinian-led initiative against Israel that condemned the Jewish state for the actions it took to prevent thousands of Gazans from overrunning its border fence.”
So what will happen when the migrant caravan reaches the U.S.? It is likely that caravan organizers are working from the Gaza playbook, and hoping that something very similar will happen. American troops will deny the migrants entry into the United States, leading to photogenic incidents that will be spread throughout the world as evidence of the brutality and inhumanity of the Trump regime.
“Incidents” are not likely all that the globalists who are sponsoring this migrant caravan are hoping for. They are almost certainly hoping that the confrontations will get ugly and even violent, and that outrage over them will fuel Democrat midterm victories – although if they do, it will be because the migrants, not the military, made it so. Nonetheless, in the media, all the onus will be on Trump.
It’s a lose-lose situation. Even if the military handles the migrants with kid gloves and no one gets so much as a hangnail, the establishment media will portray the American soldiers who are stopping the caravan as redneck thugs, mindlessly operating on the orders of the racist bigot in the White House. And if the migrants are not stopped, and enter the country, the same media will howl that Trump has not kept his word, and cannot be trusted.
The overall idea is to create one more splash of shrill, hysterical negative publicity for Trump and the Republicans before the midterms – and as you read this, trucks are carrying these supposedly pedestrian migrants toward the border in time to influence the elections. Whatever happens, the sinister forces behind the caravan know that the media can be relied upon to spin it in the direction they favor, just as it did in Gaza. Will the UN also condemn Trump for his treatment of the caravan? Bank on it.

8 U.S. Code § 1158(a)(2)(A) says that if a foreigner can reach a safe country after leaving their own country where they have a credible fear of persecution, then they cannot qualify for asylum in the United States unless the govt determines it to be in the interests of the U.S.A. to grant them asylum

Don’t give a damn what the UN says. The USA is a SOVEREIGN COUNTRY. Our Constitution is our LAW and cannot be altered by any foreign power.
If it is true the caravan is headed to Tijuana this might be an apt parallel.
There is no place along the border where they are less likely to be able to actually cross. If the goal is to have screaming rock-throwing demonstrations for the lamestream media each day, that might make sense though.
I don’t think the Mob will make it to the border. If it does it will send the Republican vote skyrocketing. At the current pace it would not reach the border for more than 2 months. My guess is that it will be harder sleighing as it goes north and will run out of steam half-way to the border several hundreds miles away.
Those who understand matters have not failed to understand that no matter what happens at the border in the unlikely event it makes it there, it will not change anything Trump has said he would do and no matter what the Goebbellsmedia tries to make us believe. It will not affect the love the people have for the President.
It has been neutered to the point that it has no impact on anyone with an IQ above 80.

I would not be surprised if the caravan has numerous maintenance problems enroute, though.
With enough zip tie handcuffs, electric fence compounds, and a system of rapid removal of illegal aliens back to their home lands, the horde will be handily dispatched.

Obama’s immigration judges will just ignore this and continue with catch and release. We already have effectively open borders today (with the minor inconvenience of a short term detention for the invaders between catch and release) and that will continue until we build a wall.

The Honduran migrants broke down the metal gates at the Guatemalan and Mexican border stations at the Suchiate River after authorities in both countries closed them. Firefighters said dozens of people were hurt.
Mexican Interior Secretary Alfonso Navarrete says his country’s police were not carrying guns, not even to fire rubber bullets. He says federal police were attacked with “stones, firecrackers, glass bottles and glass bottles,” and some of the aggressors were carrying firearms and gasoline bombs.
Navarrete said Mexico was in communication with Central American governments about the disturbances and “rejects the displays of violence that occurred today at the border with Guatemala.”

Our sensitivity to those truly in need of protection has opened us up to being abused by hundreds of thousands of two bit liars. I don't want these types of aggressive liars in my country - let them live in the hellholes their ideas ("If I want it I take it and ignore the laws of others") create.
Close the loophole.
It'll be sad for those we wanted to protect but we can't afford to be fools and taken by the millions of illegals who will destroy our ability to be kind and protective. They deserve the hellholes they're trying to escape.

I have said it before - there is no downside for the Left in this caravan.
Either they get in making Trump and the Republican look weak, or the Left gets a “Humanitarian Crisis” to exploit.
I hope God inspires President Trump to find a third path or strengthens him to deal with the ‘humanitarian crisis.’
The commonality of these two groups is that they are both being used as fodder in a quest for power. The same could be said for the “special interest” groups in the U.S. The left are using them. When they realize it, it will be too late. Fodder or pawns, whatever the metaphor, it’s very sad.
