You need to do some research. It isn't a crime for unlawful presence. There is no USC for that, it falls under immigration law, which is a civil issue.

Improper entry is a crime, which doesn't apply.

There are thousand upon thousands who enter this country illegally every month. They do it for personal reasons, mostly economic imo, and they do not make a big show of it when they do.

This caravan is clearly for show. It is a political stunt and it is being coordinated and funded. The people may not be being paid to participate but there is adequate resources allocated including fresh clothes, food, shelter and transportation. The money behind it is political in nature, some of it funneled through left-leaning church groups, and their goal is to create political friction and ultimately a “clash”, which I hope will not happen in any physical assault on the border or violence.

There is no doubt that if this caravan succeeds many more will follow. Trump has no choice in this matter for many reasons. This is not the same question as the many migrants who enter the country one by one, though the left want us to discuss it like it is. This is an invasion being funded by foreign and domestic enemies of the country and the people in the caravan are being used for a political stunt. That they are poor and their individual aim is mostly peaceful economic, social and political freedom makes them the perfect marks for the people financially supporting the effort. They are being used to create havoc.

Think about the people financially supporting the caravan and what their ultimate aims are? What do they hope will happen when the caravan arrives?

Over staying a Visa is punishable by 6 months in jail, a fine of $5,000, or BOTH!

A repeat of doing so is a FELONY, punishable by up to a two year jail term, a $250,000 fine, or both!

Supposedly, 1/3 of all ILLEGALS here are Visa overstay criminals; though I'm betting that that figure is on low side.

And hitting "abuse"/posting "admin" to a post to me, makes YOU look really bad; not to mention foolish...especially when I broke NO TOS!

By the way, I agree with your premises. However, we should not make ad hominem attacks against each other. Not wise nor healthy. The immigration problem is huge and I addressed it years ago at a meeting of Freepers where Jim was in attendance. People couldn't see it then and many don't see it now. It will take some incredible leadership to restore order without a civil war.

Yes, you're right. Most Latin Americans absolutely hate us. I will vouch for that. Respect for us is going to have to come when many of them have to pay a severe price for the disrespect. We'll see how it turns out. We have to have unity on our side to get that done. Suppress the small differences.
