How about deploying 8000 US Marines offshore from Honduras and issuing the statement, “If Hondurans illegally enter our country the US will regard it as an act of war. We will act accordingly.” Then again I guess we would own the place. Never mind.

I’ve often though that we SHOULD go invade and take over one Ctrl/Sth American country.
Maybe it would help the rest get their shit straight. Straighten up or get taken over.
There’s some beautiful land and resources down there. Imagine how nice the place would be with proper infrastructure. Things like sewage treatment instead of people pooping in a pit that leads to the river that they bath in.
