What post? It's the UN for crying out loud.
Send a mannequin, and it would be just the same results.
Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.
Stop using my money to support these pricks.
Shortly after Al Gore lost his election, he lectured for a class in NYC (can't remember if it was Columbia or NYU). Heather put her hair in a pony tail, dressed collegiate, attended the lecture, took notes, and reported back. 2004? 2000? A ways back, anyway.
I agree in principle. Stop all payments. But as long as there's a UN we need to stay in. Our Security Council Veto limits the damage they can do as long as someone like obama isn't in the WH.

Very good choice!
This lady is the sharpest mind in the Trump administration.
.
Sure...because those are the only two options women have when dressing. Either a Hillary pantsuit or a skirt so short your ass cheeks get wind burn.
.
Severe understatement!

I hope you’re joking!
I've never seen her get addled or tripped up by anyone.
I vote “YES”!
Because it is the #1 attribute that needs to be considered...
I agree with your comment. The comments your post has received are basically the equivalent of an FR “Not Guilty” posting.
Nikki Haley was well qualified to be the UN Ambassador. As her biography shows, she was elected multiple times as a representative to the South Carolina House and was twice elected governor of the state.

By contrast, Heather Nauert is a public relations person and being a spokesperson is significantly different from being an ambassador, even at the much derided United Nations.
There are many behind-the-scenes functions and diplomatic duties ambassadors perform in addition to their public appearances. These require skills at formulating agreements, forming coalitions, negotiating and making compromises, recognizing when bold action is required, and when a strategic pause for consultations is the best strategy. Ms. Haley had and has this experience.
In addition, Haley was a chief executive prior to being posted and, when necessary, knows how to threaten, both in private and publically, and be believed.
The same cannot be said for Heather Nauert. If she has a shred of integrity, she would turn down the offer of this post in deference to some man or woman who is more qualified.
Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, married to a Goldman Sachs exec. I’ll pass.
Nope. One America News runs her briefings quite often and she's very good at handling the media.
As good as Sanders but more telegenic.
Yeah, but she’s supposedly being nominated to replace UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, not White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.
PR spokesperson does not equal Ambassador no matter how well briefed. Vastly different career paths, skill sets, and experience levels required.
And, just so I’m clear on the term, does “Not guilty?” mean something other than “being good looking goes a long, long way toward excusing everything negative about the person.”
Because it does!
