Hawley’s poll numbers have been up lately so we’ll see. The bootheel is solid red so maybe he’s trying to whip up the base to get out and vote.
I’ve been to Cape Giradu and took the self guided Rush tour. I saw his house, quite modest I thought.
I also saw the radio station where he hung out. and the High school Rush did not like much

More likely Hawley is going to win and POTUS wants to be seen backing some winners.

My wife & I got tickets today. Had tickets for the last one that was canceled for the hurricane. President Trump is a couple of weeks younger than I am and I am amazed by both his energy and his willingness to do what it takes to win. I’m really looking forward to hearing no more from Claire.
And FWIW Cape is a pretty nice place to live.

there’s more support in big cities than he imagines, but people do like to see the candidate or their spokespersons

This was announced a few days ago, and it’s to pump up the vote in the SE to help counter St. Louis/KC.

But no visit to California, where we patriots have been doing actual physical battle against panty-fa. I was at the Battle of Bolsa Chica, where we had a couple of thousand Trump supporters at a rally and march that panty-fa tried to disrupt.
It is a bit disappointing that Mr. President did not schedule a stop here.
I am sure this is because she is trying to distance herself from her record. This is cool, Trump can expose her with little time for her to recover.
Is this a reschedule of the rally scheduled a few weeks ago for Cape Girardeau that I believe was cancelled due to one of the hurricanes?
FYI, virtually every rally Trump is doing bleeds into other states. Cape Girardeau is next to Indiana (Mike Braun) and Southern Illinois (where Trump was just campaigning) and Tennessee (Marsha Blackburn). Trump is going to Chattanooga which borders Georgia. Etc.
I wonder if Rush will be there.
