On Tuesday’s broadcast of CBS’ “Late Show,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) predicted that Democrats will win the majority in the House of Representatives, and if they “have a bigger victory,” they will win the majority in the Senate.
Pelosi said, “Well, let me say this, up until today, I would have said, if the election were held today, we would win. What now I’m saying is, we will win.”
She added, “Democrats will carry the House. If we have a bigger victory, the Senate, governorships. It’s going to be a great night for America.”

One thing I will have to give Nancy as leader of the House Democrats, she is out in public and in the news fighting for her cause. Where is Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House and leader of the GOP in the House? Seems he only pops up occasionally on the news to contradict the President as he did this week on anchor babies. Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise, and Jim Jordan are much more visible than Ryan in terms of campaigning to maintain the House majority.
Ryan should have resigned as speaker and leader when he announced his decision to leave Congress. The GOP needed a fighter during this campaign, not a boat anchor.
She said this in 2012, and in 2014. IIRC, in 2012 she said it in January, not in October.
Most of the mainstream media stories are opinion pieces masquerading as news.
Just heard Fox News Radio 8:00 am news update on Trump saying birthright citizenship is not in the 14th amendment as “Trump says he might sign executive order changing the Constitution in order to remove citizenship from some Americans.”

If what I witnessed when I voted this AM ... pelousi might be right. I was given a ballot that can and is tied to only me. My state officials know for wha and what all my votes were. I am certain they build data bases of voters in my state for reference when asked for by public officials I also asked for a print out of who and what my ballot stated as what my votes were but was denied one by the election official. I was told I would never be allowed to know how my vote(s) were recorded. So much for knowing and was told by another election official I was causing trouble by asking questions. Am beginning to wonder if voting is worth the BS am hearing at the voting place, the election’s office and the legislature. I live in NC
They might win the house but most of her prediction is of the type: if my mother had wheels she’d be a wagon. Yeah they might win everything. That’s why play the lottery.
In Georgia the dems (soros) have once again been spending big on TV advertising both for Governor and in the Sixth District House Race against Karen Handel (R-GA).
In my opinion, and from what I've seen, Handel and the candidate for Governor, Brian Kemp, have run very lackluster campaigns.
What do you expect Pelosi to say? That her party is going to lose?

That was my exact first thought too.
When would she ever say that they are going to lose? She wouldn’t. The most you could her to say is that the races are close and people need to get out and vote. But there is a problem even for that message; In those states where the races are close, you hardly want Nancy Pelosi carrying water for you. So she is just spewing happy horse sheet for media consumption. It really has nothing to do with reality on the ground.
I think she also predicted, with certainty, that Hillary would win in a landslide.

While the Dems could take the house, I don’t see it.. but there is NO WAY, NONE they are taking the Senate...
After Kavanaugh I don’t think they are getting either one... I truly don’t, but to flat out LIE and claim the Senate is even possibly in play is just flat out mental illness.
Try as I might I just can't think of a time when a democrat lied so I guess it's all over.
